Palace, who are in melt down and seem to go from one crisis to another still play better football and win matches and Brighton cant?

Siege mentality. Alex ferguson is the king of it. Pompey are trying to develop it. If only we could get that feeling going...

Because they have affectively cheated the same as Southampton, Leeds, Portsmouth and Southend. I agree with Barry Hearn that the punishment should be much harsher for clubs not run properly. When they over spend they affectively fielding teams they cant pay for THAT IS CHEATING. Relegate teams one or two leagues for CHEATING in this manor.

better manager
better squad

just because they are f***ed off the pitch it doesnt always effect what goes on on it - you just have to remember the latter stages of 96/97 to see that!

We played pretty well against Villa too, but it's mainly a better team with a good manager who can turn problems off the pitch into great performances on it

The fans are united behind the club and the team, especially as a result of their financial problems, (siege mentality) rather than having a culture of blame and negativity that we have here where instant success is demanded even though it is unreasonable, and anything less is unacceptable to some?

I find myself agreeing with almost every post you put on here and this is no exception.

Couldn't agree more.
