That is an atrociously stupid decision if ever I have heard one.

So you team coach gets fired at by gunmen, people are killed, you then decide to go home and also get a ban from the next two tournaments......

Football is only a game and when a team gas been fired upon and lives have been lost a little compassion should be demonstrated

Its odd though because the players wanted to play on, but it was the government who called them back, maybe (just maybe) the ban & fine is being imposed as FIFA are trying to say the players should have been allowed to play if they wish instead of the politics of the government calling the team back??
