I hope not. If the Saffers can score 400+ then so can England. Leave everything they dont need to play and grind it out. More rain expected tomorrow (forecast is 24 degrees, cloudy with showers and thundershowers). Forever the optimist!! :thumbsup:


Other than Collingwood I don't fancy any of the England batsmen to have the grit and determination needed to grind this out for the rest of the match. They will all go for silly shots at some point and throw their wickets away

If they do, then they should be shot. It is only KP at the moment that worries me. The rest are all capable of shutting up shop. If SA dont take a wicket today, they will start to get worried.

Strauss has already gone for a slightly risky single that he then apologised to Cook for. Few balls later he's nearly replicated hid out from the first innings. Went straight to Amla again but luckily it just avoided the edge and was only pad.

They need to settle in to this quickly.
