...trailing by 206 runs on the first innings and still managed to win from a position that seemed hopeless.

There's some encouragement for England to take today

Absolutely crazy tactics from Pakistan this morning which gave Australia the lift they needed but fair play to them, the players may not be of the same calibre as 5-10 years ago but the belief and character remains the same.

i watched first two hours and could not believe, as you say, the tactics. Tony Grieg et al were totally mystified. And from the start they had their heads down as if expecting defeat. The sort of performance that for me was very suspicious, not that i am inferring anything of course, but i wonder if ant strange betting patters will be found!

Incredible effort from Siddle and Hussey with the bat

Good effort by Hauritz too.

It's hard to believe that this is the player that the press were making fun of last summer.

After watching them at Hove last summer,we sat in the Cricketers after the game and as the Aussies were walking past to their coach, I shouted to Hauritz that my daughter could spin her top more than he spins the ball.:wanker:

I see Pakistan were all out for 139 in their second innings. The same score as England in Adelaide when we somehow lost on the last day after declaring at 551-6 in our first inning.

*shudder*
