FOX NEWS: - Obama set to win Oscar
President Barack Obama has been nominated for a Best Actor award at the upcoming Oscars, despite not actually appearing in any films, or showing any inclination towards a career in the film industry.
Barack Obama told how he was "surprised and humbled" to be nominated less than nine months after taking over as US President.
Obama: "I don't really feel I am worthy of this award, but of course I am grateful for the chance to prove myself."
"I do not view it as recognition of my own accomplishments but rather as affirmation of American film craft on behalf of all actors across our great nation."
Due to his popularity, Obama is overwhelming favourite to win the coveted award, with most bookies placing him at evens.
