its better to have 9 from 9 rather than say 4 from 9. at least were level pegging. Were bound to pick up more points as the season goes on. Be optimistic mate

quarter of the season gone? funny, i thought we had 46 league matches, what have you done with the other 10
??and besides are you forgetting that we've played pretty much the last 3 games with 4 centre backs at the back, with jimmy mc not far away and whingy being fixed up we will be far far better as the season progresses
and as for being in the relegation zone - from 12th to 21st in the table are all on 9 or 10 points, not quite like being 8 points adrift with only a handful or games left is it

There is a lot of support for Slade clearly but if you look at the harsh facts we are presently in the relegation zone and limped out of the league cup at the first hurdle.
This comes after spending £ 1 400 000 which in this league is very sizeable.
2 wins from 9 games is POOR.
It is clear as I said last week this season is a write off with us to be " also rans " again.
Another Withdean " nothing to see here Son move on " season. People may say Slade is doing well with 2 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats and " I will be happy with 5th bottom at the end of the season " and other such gems but if it were McGhee he would be spit roasted by now. Adams came in for massive abuse last season with a much better starting record.
Every game we fail to win, the same excuses come out, we were robbed, the ref stitched us up, we were the better side, we are still gelling etc etc.
No one knows what is going on in Blooms mind but I cannot believe he is happy with our present position and 2 wins all season. It does not bode well for Slade being able to get a team automatic promotion, ie 25 wins in a season which everyone seems to think will be a formality after this write off season is concluded.
Slades league one record is
23 games
8 wins
5 draws
10 defeats
29 points
So he has effectively had a full half season and will be on target to get 58 points over a season.
Adams, Coppell, Taylor, McGhee and wilkins all achieved FAR superior records to Slade with the same facilities and restricitons and MUCH less money.
I do not think Slade has it within him to motivate a team or is tactically astute enough and good enough in the buying market or spotting good players to get a team promoted at this level let alone the ultimate aim of the getting promoted from the Championship.
On that rationale it would be better to relieve him of his services sooner rather than later and get the right Man in for Falmer.

The facts are I a a BHAFC supporter have been for 36 years and I not a Slade supporters or any othr manager come to that. They are just keeping the seat warm for however long they are in charge and will f*** off at the drop of a hat if/when a better offer comes along. Slade is not different. Do you honestly think he really gives a stuff about this club, yes whilst he is heere but as soon as he moves on he would never give BHAFC another thought. As Harty says I am a lifer and have seen 20 plus managers come and go.

Luckily you're in a minority on that one.
I see a manager that is motivating the team and is largely getting the tactics right. The only issue at the start of the season was the personell, but he's corrected that now. I think we have turned a corner and the last few performances have been promising and I'm convinced there's alot more to come from this side.
The big difference between Slade and McGhee + Adams is that he can spot where he's going wrong and is willing to change it. M + A were so stubborn that they refused to believe that they'd ever got anything wrong and would persevere with things that clearly weren't working. They were both engineers of their own downfall.
