It doesnt say anything about it being suicide does it? It doesnt even say its at the station!

It could just be a horrible accident like the last mane to be killed by a train at Southwick.

Man killed by train at Southwick From The Argus)

Another selfish wanker. RIP my arse

***edit Title : Good job this wasn't a football day. (too much booze)

I am looking forward to seeing the history of the victim and if it were indeed suicide what drove him to it and what horrendous things in his life made him reach a point so low the prospect of having his head mashed until a train wheel was better than living another day. You might even know the bloke for all you know.

Lets see first and then re post and call him a selfish wanker.

But if he did commit suicide in front of a train then he is absolute scum. There are lots of ways of doing it without involving others.

I think you're the selfish one here.

You've called someone that felt the need to kill themself a wanker, without knowing anything about them.

I just hope that you never understand the darkness and despair of depression, and the feeling of hopelessness that it can invoke.

If one day in your future you do, and someone calls one of your actions selfish, I wonder how you'd feel.

My already disrupted journey heading to Worthing from Southampton due to missing a train was disrupted even furhter by this incident yesterday. As this they did not say whether was accident or suicide but most assumed it was the latter....

Frustrating though it is for commuters I just can't help thinking that the very last thing on your mind when you are determining the swiftest way to top yourself is whether or not you will inconvenience a few thousand people. Let alone care about the ramblings of some posters on a reasonably insignificant message board.

Every suicide involves someone else!

There are the loved ones that you leave behind, the person who has to find the body, the person who has to pick up your body and take it away etc

The fact someone felt that their only option left is killig themselves does not make them scum!

I do wonder that if someone you knew jumped infront of a train, would they also be scum??

Im not saying it is. But who is being selfish here? You lot for not giving to hoots about the person who is dead and only giving a shit about your pethitcaly pointless lifes.

f*** me, what is wrong with the world today when someone who has proberly commited suieside is considered selfish.

I think you will find dougdeep when your mind is so off kilter that you are going to kill yourself you are not likely to be thinking logically are you ?. How anyone can call someone scum for commiting suicide is beyond belief.

The train driver might-considering he has involuntarily killed someone and has to deal with that for the rest of his/her days.

I went past there at 11.55, a few minutes after it happened.
2 cop cars and an ambulance were in attendance. The Brighton-bound train had stopped on the bridge, cops all on the station.
By the time I had reached Southwick Square another 2 cars, a van and a paramedic car had turned up.

And to top it all off, I went to get some money out the machine at Barclays and Uncle S was in the queue.

As I said I doubt he was thinking rationally.
