Don't think he dived but the ref made a very poor decision

Err, he didn't dive. He looked as shocked as anyone that he got a pen.

Way out west
Looking at the replay it is hard to work out how he was given a penalty for what looked like a foul on his opponent...very soft!

England's most consistent performer and scorer, and still you have a go. Staggering. He always tries his heart out and that alone is good enough for me and most other England fans.

knocking him,for that performance yes, read my post clown,in the last week,he has dived twice,he appealed for a pen,to me,thats a disgrace, and as this board is for people to voice their thoughts, and the fact he missed chancs my 10 year old could score,i was stating he isnt a natural goalscorer, but as i also said he is a class act,h shouldnt need to dive, watch the replays, and as for most england fans, you a mind reader, naaaa didnt think so:jester:

make the goals, but ronaldo is a well known cheat, but a world class player apart from when he faces ashley cole when he goes 10 foot in the air

I don't know if that is a joke or supposed to be a wind-up, and if so I have bitten.

That is the most inaccurate and hilariously wrong statement I think I have ever read on this message board, and that is saying something! Rooney is by far and away England's best player, and although everyone has their opinions on certain players, anyone who thinks he is 'living on potential' clearly knows very little about football.

2 dives in a week ? what are u going on about, was clearly a pen against Arsenal, every pundit and paper said it wasnt a dive.
Yesterday was just a tangle, so what if he appealed for it, up to the ref to sya it wasnt a pen.
So what he missed a few good chances , doesnt every striker miss chances.

England with a fit Rooney have every chance of making the latter stages of the WC.
Without him - we *might* scrape quarters at best.
