I met Chris Montez this winter, either got a bloody good plastic surgeon or he's worn very well, still sounds OK when he sings as well which is more than can be said of Bobby Vee and Johnny Tillotson who were at the same concert.

Yes, but what were Hedge Hoppers then Smarty ? The were Handley Page Canbara Bombers that would fly low level (thus hopping over hedges). Also, they were discovered my Jonathon (nonce) King.

Taken nicely out of context that second one, Sweets for my Sweet, The Searchers. The first is right. The Honeycombs caused a bit of a stir with their female drummer, can you remember the band with the female bassist ? And their No.1 hit ?
