We didn't do to well in The Boer Wars either. They didn't like physical challenges and shot from distance. We were forced to round up their caterer's and tea ladies and hold them hostage to try to get a result.

Indeed. And Isandlwana is missing too - maybe it was declared void because the opposition did not have the standard kit and some of our team were stuck in traffic elsewhere?

Also Singapore - I presume this was declared a non event as the opposition did not attack from the desired direction?

by reading it ?

Er...I did. Maybe you should try reading your own posts.

What you said was that hadn't been any battles of note won or lost against the Scots and Irish. Now, how is anyone meant to interpret that as meaning any battles lost against them?

I'd stop digging if I were you....

That's because apart fom bannockburn which was f*** knows how many years ago , there haven't been any of note , now do us all a favour and take your colonial chip on your shoulder and f*** off back to the really "popular". Game where all the players dress up like refugees from a gay pride float

Culloden, Boyne ring a bell?

Kinda worth noting considering the outcomes of those battles played a part in changing the landcsape of the regions rulers and ensuring Protestant rule from then onwards.

Maybe you need to read up on the Jacobite Wars?

Kinda ironical though that a colonial would be aware of this yet all you can offer is lame, boring insults.

No - simply that you take an interesting and funny thread and use it to settle old scores and then make out we should all know what you meant to post rather than what you did post.

If you get what I mean.

Which may not actually be what I have posted.

If you get what I mean.

no that's a myth perpetuated by ignorant aussies desperate for something to use as an excuse to hate the english just as many british soldiers died as anzacs, the aussies try to disguise the fact that its their colonial inferiority complex that really makes them hate us.

You are so full of shit its not funny.

If you had a clue at all you'd realise that the reason so many men died in that battle was because the intelligence gathered was completely substandard and painted a false picture of what the real strength of the Turkish forces were.

Ian Hamilton was thus given command of a force ill prepared and stocked for what it would face.

From the run down naval ships at his disposal to the inadequate numbers of troops supplied.

Alot of good men died in that battle and what your peabrain can't seem to comprehend is that the English and the ANZACS died fighting along side each other just as they would in the next world war.

To say Australians hate the English really says alot about your small minded ignorant views of thre world.

The truth is that if a 3rd world war ever came about the first two armies that would be standing side by side would be the English and the Australians.

But yeah you keep on thinking we hate all the English :wanker:
