At the moment top 10. If RS gets the additional midfielders of quality he wants then perhaps play offs. Gonna take sometime to gel the team.

The way I see it our 1st XI will have 6 or 7 new faces, and it could take a few games to gel. However, half of the new recruits know each other from their Stockport days so it shouldn't take too long. Ideally, the starting side will look something like:

1. G Smith
2. Whing
3. Lynch
4. Tunnicliffe
5. Virgo
6. Dicker
7. Crofts
8. Cox
9. Dickinson
10.Murray
11.M Wright

subs: Kuipers, Elphick, Livermore, Forster, C Davies

To me that looks like a play-off side with potential.

I still think we lack real quality in midfield and i think this needs addressing first. Wish they'd stop with these undisclosed fees. Totally understand why there doing it but its still bloody annoying

Midfield lacks quality still , the players we've signed are decent but shouldn't be shoe in's to start which they currently are. 2 real quality midfielders and keep Murray and looks good for top half

10th after spending much of the season in and around the top six.

could 1 of those quality midfielders be spiller? class player when fit but like many others that land here would it be a waste of time and money? think i will trust russ on that one, but with 2 decent midfielders+ what we already have should really be pushing for play-offs at least. its a strong league on paper with all the big names but they all have their fair share of problems, could just see 1 or 2 of them struggling.

bottom 4, sorry if sounds harsh but thats my opinion... were always struggle like we done for yrs on end...no money invested in decent quality players = just average results

We've spent possibly 300k today. Not forgetting Smith was touted at being worth 200k. Then Tunicliffe & Dicker?

We are still aiming to get another 3 or 4 players in.

We are not Real Madrid, but the money spent currently, in the current econimical climate for a league one side is pretty impressive?

What are you asking for Tevez up front?

Are you being serious! I don't believe we'll be promoted next season but the new regime has made very positive changes to the squad and is certainly doing enough to ensure we can compete in this league.

I am generally negative about the Albion but i'm sure we'll finish somewhere around 10th place next term and given the competition and last seasons fiasco, i'd consider that a succesfull season.

I cant see us not challenging for the play offs and Im a natural pessimist. We have a very strong looking squad for this division.

As previously reported, that BBC predictor fellow who CORRECTLY stated our finishing position last season as early as January has said EIGHTH.

Best put some money on it.
