Reading some of the MJ threads and some people have said MJ has inspired them. But I ask to what? Not wishing to demean their feelings but unless you are a budding music man or into videos etc how can he of inspired you. Perhaps someone or thing has inspired you, please tell. For me it was my grandfather and I hope I follow his morality.

Now that is an inspiration, good man. That is exactly the point I was trying to make. I can not see how a singer who's done nothing for 10 years, lives a weird and very questionable life can inspire.

I agree, I think people confuse enjoyment with inspiration.I'm sure many people have really enjoyed MJ's bubble gum pop music but I fail to see anything inspirational in it unless like you say fans have gone into the business themselves.

My forefathers.

Stripped of all their lands and most of their possessions by the British they boarded a ship with the last of what they had left and sailed half way round the world to a most unhospitable land to try and forge a new life.

Inspiring stories from regular people.

You mean they came to England? No wonder you went back to Oz.

Inspired by the news, I tried doing a moonwalk the other night, and banged my knee on our nest of tables.
Thanks JACKO.

do you ever stop f***ing whining ?

Exactly where am I whining?

Anyone, no matter where they are from who has the balls to uproot their lives and travel vast diatances in the hope of starting a new one is worthy of admiration.

Don't matter if they are Irish, Scottish, Chinese or whatever.

I bet their stories are a hell of alot more interesting and inspiring than yours
