Cobblers. I know exactly why I want Barca to win.

I want United to get stuffed out of sight primarily so that their army of PLASTICS who we all have to suffer in the bars and pubs up and down the nation don't have yet another "bauble" to falsely celebrate as if its actually anything to DO with them. I want to point and SNIGGER at them. I want to see them so EMBARRASSED by the Catalans tonight, that they zip up their Primark hoodies over the top of their JJB-purchased replica shirts, and slink off home. I want to see them get pissed off, and then for them to f*** off.

There is NOTHING more insufferable than a celebrating plastic. THATS why I vote Barca.

:bowdown:Top ranting Easy.

My exact reason's for hating them, as well as the media having their tounges shoved so far up their arses they can't EVER give a neutral commentary.

enabling you to do what?

I don't buy it for the benefits, it's what it means to me personally really.

But it gives you the opportunity to buy tickets to any league game when they go onsale at the start. Which pretty much gaurentees you a ticket to el clasico (some see that as worth the money itself).

You also get to ability to vote on major decisions. The upcoming presidential elections probably being the next one.

You get other small things like discount in the botiga's, free stadium tours, free entry to other Barca teams games (football or other) etc.

I'm not trying to be an arse, but where does your love of Barca come from? Spanish connections and whatnot or just admiration for the club/ way they play etc?

I shall be supporting United tonight, simply as they are english, plus don't particularly like Barca anyway

Don't worry i get it alot, especially when i was at the 2006 final and the gooners thought i should be supporting them

Fell in love with the club back in 92, the year they won the cup for the first time at Wembley. Cruyff was the manager of the then named dream team and they were a joy to watch. Romario ended up being my all time favourite player. Then i fell in love with the city and the rest is history. Try and manage about 7 or 8 games a season.

Fairplay to you mate, that's some proper commitment
Ahh Romario. What a fine player he was.
Good luck tonight mate, i'll be supporting Barca all the way :ascarf:

I was also co founder of the biggest Barca UK supporters club. I'd love to do more games each season, but being a Brighton STH and the cost of travelling to BCN makes it pretty hard.

Sanity has almost been restored with Blighty's Red Devils almost reaching parity with the foreign team (Barca) in the poll. Maybe us Albion fans following the team from OUR country could club together and get a 'Sussex Reds' flag made up.

I forgot to add

"Ronaldo grabs the ball for EVERY free kick, letting no-one else have a go (because "it's my ball and no one else can play"), standing astride at a long run up, legs akimber looking like he's about to shit himself, then looking left and right to make sure everyone's watching him, then blasting it way over, then checking the heel of his bitt for a missing divot lodged between his studs "

to the Champions League checklist

Anyone who votes Barcelona, unless a Barcelona fan or having a GENUINE reason for disliking United (not just because they're GOOD), is a TWAT.

IMHO, like. :)

Is having lived in Spain and having spent far more time in Barcelona than Manchester a good enough reason to want Barca to win? :bigwave:

Did anyone see BBC news this morning with the bloke at Manchester Airport?

He was interviewing to Man U fans heading to Rome and said "you are proper Man U fans and dont live 200 miles away"

Don't care who wins as long as it's a nine goal thriller with a couple of missed penalties a twenty-two man punch up resulting in at least two red cards, and a streaker.
