Fantastic result! Hart is a genius! Roll on next Saturday when we can have a right old party.

Any Norfolk seagulls want to share a car up to Huddersfield?

You were at the G20, right? You could claim to be one of the anonymous officers who dished out more than they should have done!

Hmmm, OK, I need some evidence though, anybody want to get themselves a few baton-shaped bruises on their legs? For the love of the Albion, of course :lolol:

On the subject of the OGH/player of the year debate, sorry Harty (Ian), he's played very well for four games, but to vote for him as PotY would be an insult to the few who have put the effort in for nine months.

OGH was lucky to get a new contract last summer, and has been injured all year. He's been unexpectedly brilliant since his return, but so has Owusu recently in terms of goals at least, and I don't hear many people calling for Lloyd to win the vote. I'm sure OGH would actually be faintly embarrassed to win the award after so few games, so please folks: use your common sense and don't let Ian Hart turn it into a complete charade.

Most people have probably voted now anyway, I guess.

Just back from the game 9.48pm

What a night!

The passion, the commitment was awesome, Gary Hart was just inspirational, Gary Dicker was everywhere he needed to be...if anyone had a bad match, it wasn't for the lack of trying!

Due to reasons far too boring this was my first match of the season, and having followed every match through NSC, is there now anyone prepared not to give Gary Hart a new contract?

The highlight? Definitely the argument in the half time interval between the Rovers groundsman and the Albion backroom man who was giving Kuipers some practice...

...going to enjoy work tomorrow.

you punched me in the face at the G20 you git. I want the IPCC to suspend you immediately?!? worth a try?

That does appear to be the popular suggestion :lolol:

Sadly as I've already asked for the day off and been declined, and moreover haven't had any time off sick in four years in the job, I fear it may look a tad suspicious were I to suddenly develop a nasty bug overnight on Friday.

Poor planning on my part really, isn't it? Won't be getting much work done on Saturday afternoon then, as I'll find some means to listen to the radio.

What a win, win on sat crewe and carlise lose and we are staying up

And Carlisle are playing Cheltenham who need all 3 points to keep their hopes of staying up alive. Anything less and they are relegated.

just back from the game. quality support as usual from the faithful. we deserved that win. other than the first 20minutes or so, Rovers never looked threatening at all.

no word of a lie, the ref was the biggest Rovers fan i have EVER seen. there were times when a Rovers player was literally climbing on us and he would either wave play-on or give a free kick to them. Cox was badly fouled when he got injured, yet the ref said play on. i don't think we got a single decision all night. only when it was so obvious that the ref had to blow up did he give us a decision. friends of mine who are Rovers fan's agree with this. shocking ref. he booked kuipers for time wasting, when he didnt even have the ball! the bloody ball boy hadn't even thrown the ball back on the pitch. cheating bastard.

over all very happy. THATS WHY WE'RE STAYING UP!

Fantastic result. Spent the afternoon in the BVI at a crim justice conference monitoring updates and slowley and covertly sipping the pussers rum they gave us in the welcome pack!! One more win will be enough for sure.

Obviously I haven't seen it, but Kuipers is one of the worst time-wasters in the world, we all know it, so I doubt that particular card was that controversial.

i agree with you. but i kid you not - the ballboy held onto the ball (like they did all the time we were losing/drawing - only hurrying up for their throws etc) kuipers had literally just been given the ball, placed it went back to the line (all rather quickly) - the ref at this point was chatting to a Rovers player on the half way line- turned round assumed kuipers had been wasting time so gave him a card. kuipers had the ball for a whole 5 seconds maybe. no longer.

Listening to Harty...... wot is he on.... OGH has been superb but you don't get player of the season for four games!!! Thats an insult to Whingy who played well when no one else was on the field. OGH has been superb but shut up about OGH for player of the season... hope he gets another year though.

Don't you have to play a minimum of 15 games to qualify for player of he season? That's what he sad after the game on saturday...

No its true Edna, the ball boy threw it back, Kuipers put it down, took a few steps back then the ref blew and booked him. It was a free kick the ref was busy sorting out the minor handbags and didn't notice the ball being thrown back.
Plus the ball boy had to be told by us where to throw the ball.
