Anyone got any late night Brighton pub/bar tips?

Starting to feel I need to find some new drinking establishments in Brighton. My current crop are okay but I feel I need to extend my range a bit.

So, can anyone recommend any late night pubs/bars which satisfy the following (not necessarily in this order or at the same time):

1) Good music/DJs
2) Gets a bit unhinged as the night progresses.
3) Some friendly nutters/characters.
4) Half decent draught lager.

The Globe on a Friday night is quite good. They have a once a month northern soul night too.

Good call, I noticed they do that Top 100 thing. Quite enjoyed this when Richard Norris did it.

Prince Albert on Trafalgar Street

Good call but this is my post match boozer. I know it intimately. Many a night has started there.

Looks a bit of a rough house to me.

It's got a really nice vibe, catering for the studenty type clientele, wicked jukebox and never seems to get fraught, which is a big plus seeing where it is located. Friday and Saturday nights it f*cking rocks

Maybe worth a punt then.

How about the Sidewinder on Upper St James' Street?

Open late, not too steep, nice outside area full of sofas and heaters, Street Fighter 2 machine, Fussball table and often have DJ's/live music

good shout and somewhere i go for work nights out (just around the corner)
Main downside is when there is a crowd in there, it gets 5-10 deep at the bar and the que for drinks becomes a joke

I'm well acquainted with this pub already. Me and the missus often enjoy the odd fancy drink in Brighton Rocks prior to the Sidewinder as well.

what are you on about??? I went out in cogent garden after the orient match and none of the pubs are open after midnight.

There are hundreds of pubs open way into the small hours in London though. Literally hundreds.
