Would you want us to lose to Hereford knowing Adams would be sacked?

Even if it was just one game to get a decent manager in? ( hypothetical I know as there is no guarantee the next one will be any better). I'd settle for that and for you thinking you might be a better fan because you didn't think that way.

I can understand people wanting us to lose if Adams goes (and I suppose it would be a softening blow if we lose on Tuesday), but I personally think we're in too much trouble to be able to afford to lose a game, let alone against one of our relegation rivals!

All arguments about being a 'better fan' though are usually ridiculous - yours however is just stupid.

What a load of tosh, any fan who would take one MORE defeat to see the back of a manager that they think is a disaster is a better fan than the one who whimpers " give him more time" ad infinitum imo.

( not suggesting that I am in that camp as I think we are stuck with the clueless dinosaur even if we get relegated as our chairman is not big enough to admit his massive mistake in re-appointing him))

What's also ridiculous is that you would call the people that want to sack their managers after a short period withour perserving, the better people and fans (and in this I include the likes of Portsmouth, Tottenham, Chelsea). Non-loyal, quick-fix.

The better fan is taken out of context, it was a response to Elder's comment about no true Albion fan wanting the team to lose...the nub of the argument is that wanting the team to lose one game does not make you a bad fan, in certain circumstances.

I only care about the Albion and have no interest or opinion on the other teams you mention, and if it's ok with you I don't think that Adams is the man for the job and I haven't since he was re-appointed. I would love to see him sacked, but it ain't gonna happen so I hope your continued faith is rewarded before we get relegated.

People are saying No because we cannot afford to lose games at the moment.

Wake up. We ARE losing/drawing pretty much every game anyway.

I would take one more loss, as I feel getting a new manager in would give us a much greater chance of staying up. One game for the sake of improving the next 3 years football.

Ill assume you are calling Adams the dinosaur that surprises me as Wilkins is the same age as him.

Adams born 8 November 1961

Wilkins born 12 July 1962

So that’s 8 months difference

I can see now why people think Adams is a dinosaur and Wilkins is a young up and coming manager.

Because of the stark contrast in their personal philosophies on the way to build a football team?

So you guys would rather sneak a point against Millwall and have to put up with the fat lump of a manager we currently have than sacrifice 1 measly point and give ourselves a genuine chance of staying up?
