Just watching EastEnders (not my idea of fun but Mrs PotG insists on watching it) and I can't help making similarities between this and the Albion.

Absolute drivel with too many pointless characters that are impossible to care about and who nobody really wants to watch...and it might actually be funny if it wasn't so pointlessly depressing.

I would prefer an analogy between The Albion and Eggheads.

Every match pits a bunch of hopeless amatuers with a group of smug professionals which results 9 times in 10 with a whup-ass session and everyone going home disappointed.

Regular access to the Eastenders is a lot cheaper too. Wouldn't pay £500 a year to watch Ricky and Bianca but I would pay that to watch a show involving White and Booker - and they say football fans are thick and will put up with anything - not far wrong really.

Don't get me started on Crapenders.....ludicrous scripts and characterisations.... more road deaths in a 400yd oval than in the whole of West Sussex.. higher proportion of current and ex prostitutes per sq. mile than Hamburg...how come no one seems to own a washing machine ? and the "kids" are even more ludicous.. Jay suddenly is a hard man, Lucy Beale is a gobshite, The two Branning girls look like they have been adopted from The Adams Family.. Ben should be strangled.. sigh

Does anyone on NSC go to their local cafe for breakfast? Even when you are skint?
And how come most of the residents don't commute to work?
Why do children keep being stranded there when their families move away?
Why does everyone use the Stedford Bank?
Why does no one ever take the tube/train to the airport?
Why do customers rarely get quoted the price when paying for food/drink?
Why has no one murdered Ian Beale?
