I apologise unreservedly if I upset anybody yesterday, due to non football related domestic issues and a long standing invitation from Worthing Rugby Club I'd hoped to have a day off, unfortunately due to my own stupidity it didn't pan out that way.

Like the rest of you I am passionate about this great football club we all love, and sometimes that passion crosses boundaries it shouldn't do, and I freely admit that at times I am my own worst enemy, but that's another issue I will have to address.

I have also decided not to post on NSC for the forseeable future.

Harty you must realize that what ever you do some will hold it as a stick to beat you with but the vast majority of people who listen to the phone in, like my mother who always tells me what you have said on the radio, appreciate your dedication and support to this club. Whether or not they agree with your views is a different matter but I am sure most would have found it quite amusing that you came across as a normal person who had sampled Worthing Rugby Clubs hospitality and that had you been on the other end would have said thank you and terminated the call. I am certain that you offended nobody.

I would continue to post if I were you as there will always be some who will jump on you whatever you say or do. Stick with it Harty.

Apologise to Wilkins for saying on air that he should have been sacked in January/

Also apologise to the fans on the radio who could see from the beginning of Adams second coming that it was the wrong decision when we lost games week in week out and you continually defending him and turning on the callers

You numbskull!

You did sound as if you had enjoyed the free hospitality bar to its full extent Harty :clap2:

Nothing to apologise for. It was great radio. Anyone who was "offended" has a priority list that seriously needs re-ordering.

Oh Harty, don't go vanishing from NSC, or it will look like you are doing a Dick Knight, and hiding away until there is something good to crow about.

Yesterday, you had erm, got a bit carried away with the drink. The bit about Wilkins should have gone in January was complete, drunken, madness. You actually said "Because then we wouldn't have had all this ...." and switched to say / mumble something else. I honestly thought you were going to finish that sentence with "we wouldn't have had all this rubbish about needing to beat 7th". LOL, yeah, damn you Wilkins for setting the bar so high, we should have got you out before you did that.

If Wilkins had indeed lost the dressing room, as well as having an inferior squad that needed all the changes Adams has made, and had a supposedly useless assistant in Dean White (both are excuses various people have offered to Adams this season) then the job Wilkins did to achieve 7th just sounds like a better and better job. Blimey what a potentially brilliant manager we threw away.

Harty, don't vanish, this is all about debate, and even if you are just playing devils advocate, then it does at least make for a debate. Not coming on here anymore just looks like you are burying your head in the sand a bit deeper.

No need to apologise, you've done nothing wrong. As has been said, you are one of the few (or only?) fans in a position to regularly air their views publicly.
There will be people who disagree with you, that is what life is about, but of these people, a few sad cases will try and beat you with any stick available. Just stick to your principles and you'll be fine

If Ian hasn't already mentioned, his opinion is always just an opinion, and of no more import or lack thereof, than any other fan.

Perhaps some people need reminding of that?

Please don't go Harty, we all have our own opinions and yours are just as important as everyone else's, just you have the chance to voice yours to everyone which most of the rest of us don't have the opportunity or skill to do.

I actually believe the vast majority of fans do agree with your view that Micky Adams is here to do a long term job and maybe we have to take the pain to get some gain, just the younger more voiciferous fans are those that post most frequently on here. Those fans of our, ahem, more mature years are not the sort to so readily post on an internet message board or maybe we've seen it all before already and know we'll pull through in the end.

I didn't hear all of the phone in as I was driving back from the match but so what if you voiced your own opinions, it's a phone in show to do just that and that's what you'd done. I'm sure Dean Wilkins has heard a lot worse over the years. To me it proves you're just a normal fan and one of us and personally that's the way I'd like it to stay.
