There are some stupid fuckers on here and it is obvious why Kakka turned down Man City as we have BID for him, I dare say Limp Dick is at Gatwick now with Bazza Lloyd waiting for the next Easyjet to Milan.
I can't help thinking this is another 'We are bidding for a player we have no hope of signing' type story.
Why would he leave Stockport (who are better than us) and his native North West to join a relegation scrap at the other end of the country?
And I really HATE the way Dick comes out and goes on about how "I" have bids in for players etc but is nowhere to be seen when things are going wrong.
What's happened to Matt Richards then![]()
to quote the man himself in todays paper
"Without divulging names, I have substantial offers for two players lodged with their clubs and, with one of the clubs, I have agreed transfer terms."
any guesses on who the other SUBSTANTIAL offer is for![]()
he would be FREE as he has no club
Incorrect.
Walsall still hold his registration and a fee would be involved.
To quote the club in the summer of 2006
"The board has discussed it and the board has decided the board will retain the services of Mak McGhee"
To quote the man himself, back in october 2006
"I listen to the fans, and I decided I would fire McGhee"
He likes to use "I" if it's a positive thing, and hide behind "the board" for negative/unpopular things.
As chairman he does make the offer. But he makes the offer on behalf of the club, on behalf of the board. The money may or may not come from Dick Knight originally, but it is the club's money. The money may or may not have come from the blooms, or some other mystery source that is also financing the stadium.
The club are making the offer. Dick Knight happens to be the one delivering the offer (and taking credit for it).
That quote does nothing to prove he has money to give the club.
he would be FREE as he has no club
I reckon PAUL IFILL

Doubt it, unfortunately he's playing really well at palace at the moment but I think he's still on the transfer list so you never know!
Walsall terminated their contract with him and therefore he is a free agent.
The thread was kind of tongue in cheek pointing exactly what you said.
Does any of that really matter?
