Anyinsah to sign permanently?

From The Argus.

Joe Anyinsah could make a permanent move to Albion if he has no future at Preston. Anyinsah’s contract with Preston runs out at the end of the season and he is looking to sort out his future in January.

The 24-year-old right winger is relishing regular football with Albion after just eight substitute appearances in three years for North End.

Anyinsah, midway through his second month on loan with the Seagulls, said: “It’s been frustrating at Preston, not being involved as much as I would like to be, but I take things in my stride.

“These things happen for a reason. I have come here and I am playing games. If I keep playing my best then you never know who is watching or what is happening. Anything can happen in football.

“It changes very quickly, so I could go back there and do something or, if not, I am sure something else will turn up. January is the sort of time frame I am looking at to try and sort things out. I am hoping something will turn up.

“Brighton is something I would definitely consider. You never rule anything out. It has been probably the most successful of the loan spells I’ve had, really enjoyable. I am pleased to be playing every week.”

whether he's playing every week on merit, or because of all the injuries is a different matter

This is just more crap Argus reporting. Every loanee who does well is asked by Naylor if they would consider a move to Brighton. Sensibly most say 'maybe'. Which is what Joe has said. This is total non-news.

To me it sounds more like he want out of PNE. If the only offer he gets is us then he will think about it. Ideally though he wants to go else where.

No thanks. I think we can find better than Anyinsah.

After his 1st month on loan I said he looked a cross between Bas Savage and Albert Jarret, whilst most people were creaming themselves over him. I am not his greatest fan, but I still think he is an asset to the squad, and dont think we can get much better.

He got shown up by Max gradel in te Leicester game. Both made decent runs however Anyinsah's crossing is a real let down. Wouldnt turn him down on a free but I dot think he is that great.

I'd have him but I'm not sure he'll be wanting to be here after the next month as Johnson has definately got to be in front of him and Thornton should be.

Nope, not a football scout, I just happen to think that Anyinsah has been pretty inconsistent, and in the games I've seen him in I haven't been hugely impressed. Sorry.

I just believe that "inconsistent" is our level. He came on against Man City and had them in knotts. If he did that on a consistent basis, he wouldn't be anywhere near a League One club who play in an athletics stadium.

Just think we have to be realistic, and IMHO Anyinsah would be a very good signing for us. I asked you to name someone better, because I think you'd end up coming up with someone who is beyond us.

Indeed, Thorton should be the 1st player on the team sheet for me, but as it is, we've used him as a bit player. Can't see why he'd want to sit on our bench getting frustrated for another month.

I'd absolutely LOVE him to stay as I think he has got real talent, and offers us something we are crying out for ... creativity! But if I was him, I'd need some convincing to stay for longer.

Pretty useful player, wouldn't say no to signing him permanently.

I'd love to see him sign on a permanent basis. I think it could be dependent on us getting a decent fee for Lynch though. I also reckon the club should try it’s upmost to extend Thornton’s loan till Christmas.

If we can build on Tuesdays second half performance, November could be a great month for us and catalyst for the promotion push. Who knows by the end of the month we could be approaching the playoff position, in the quarter final of the League cup and in the semi’s of the JPT.

Have to agree. He has a very poor first touch.

I would much rather we concentrated our efforts on securing Richards, Johnson, Thornton or even Fleetwood ahead of ayinsah

His first touch is not always the best but he has real pace, strength, not a bad cross on him. He's not the player we all thought he was after the Man City game but he's shown that he can hurt teams and make things happen, especially when a game is stretched and he can use his pace. He'd be well worth signing, if his contract's coming up and he has barely played for Preston he shouldn't be too costly.
