Do you find the word "Honky" offensive ?

It is used in Scrubs, a hell of a lot and to be honest, I don't find it offensive at all. Or is it less offensive than other words aimed at other races (P**i, N****r) If so, why ? Discuss.

No, not in the least. There was a case a couple of months ago where a young white lad (who had a lot of black mates, and therefore used and heard the word a lot) called some over-zealous security guards (also white) 'honky wannabe cops' in a shopping centre in Reading...and was successfully prosecuted for racial abuse.

Mad on every level. Hasn't the CPS got better things to do?
