Erm, because if "he" was omnipotent, he'd have a job fitting under the staircase. I took it as more of a metaphor!

I was more thinking along the lines of that as he's omnipotent he'd already know what the state of the game was so wouldn't need to pop out from anywhere to ask... thinking about it God could possibly be the only entity more annoying than my mate Chris to play Monopoly against (cheating swine!).

Although technically, being omnipotent doesn't necessarily mean god will know he's won. Although it might, I've never been omnipotent. To be sure he had won he would also need to be omniscient, which I guess he would be but again, not being omniscient myself I can't say for sure.

If Dicky Dawkins is as clever as he thinks he is why doesn't he also run a similar campaign saying "There is no Allah, so stop blowing people up and get on with your lives". I bet you the Muslim faith would not take it as well as the Church, but the Muslims would have everyone bending over backwards to avoid offence.

Allah does mean God, to be fair... I don't think he intends to attack Christianity more than any other "faith".

Allah is God, so the advert works for muslims as well as Christians or Jews. And it's hardly an "attack" is it?

Surprise, surprise. The religious fanatics are up in arms over a slogan on the side of a bus. The slogan appeals to me as I believe there is no god. However, I do not write an angry and teary letter to various press outlets when I happen to stumble across a sign such as 'God saves' or 'Methodist Church Bring and Buy Sale'. Both of them, suggesting that the disbelievers are wrong.
