Yesterday the floodlights didn't work. Joke.

We're currrently only playing once a fortnight at Stanley Deason because the council haven't sorted the floodlights yet. We actually aren't playing for a month now due to having a no show team in our division. It's rubbish.

Nothing to do with the OFFICIAL Hove Lawns brand, but I have an idea who it may be

I'm quite liking the one week on, one week off, it gives enough time for the sores on my legs and arms to heal between games ..

You should transfer to Wednesdays. They only use the one pitch and the k.o. times are betwwen 6:00 and 9:20 (we bring our cocoa). And as I said the standard's not that great. We started in the bottom division and won them all at the first attempt, we only lost 4 games out of 41! Well I say 'we', it was still young Jack, a few of his mates and us old fuckers making up the numbers. But Jack's 19 now and at Horsham YMCA, so he's said he's only going to turn out occasionally from now on, so we've quit as Champions. We'll probably just be old fuckers only at Hove and hopefully stay in the bottom division which is more my level.
