:bigwave: That was our 'last day escape' year, with Robbie Reinalt's equaliser at Hereford saving us from the drop out of the league. Finished 23rd. out of 24 :ascarf:

91st out of 92:eek:

The invasion game was in April, or do you mean 11 days prior to your 1st Albion game, which, i would imagine, would be the re-played York game?

I went to my first game at White Hart Lane with the school, must have been around 1967. Stepney played a blinder.

It may well have been the Lincoln invasion then, for which we were deducted points by the FA. Seems like something was going on at every game back then.

My 1st game at The Lane was when Albion drew there 0-0 in front of nearly 49,000 in the old div 2.

A mate of mine had a house a stone's throw from WHL and waxes lyrical about Greaves et al. in the 60's

We got tickets for the FA Cup game there a couple of years ago in the home end. I didn't advertise my presence when Carpenter (I think) scored the equaliser from a free kick
