El-Abd and Savage shouldnt be playing central midfield together.

I'd pretty much go with your ratings, except I'd give Anyinsah an 8 ( despite the 2nd half offsides ), and think Cox started really well so I'll give him a 7.

Good point too about El-Abd and Savage. They seemed to be getting in each others way a lot and essentially trying to do the same thing.

Yeah, you could see it, they were doing the same things, except Savage was doing it a lot better than El-Abd! I look forward to seeing how Thomson gets on with Savage, presuming he plays in the role that he did against Man City, that is.

Indeed, lets hope Thomson will take the licence and push on more with Savage playing the holding role. Could be very productive me thinks. Shame I can't make Leeds
