Don't flatter yourself sunshine, I have been around along time, seen people like you come and go, and get what they deserve in life.

One minute you come across as, "Hove Born & Bred" is just a vehicle you use on NSC, but you only use that when others have beaten you down in a debate, then you say it is not the real you, admittedly I don't know you personally, (however I do know others that do) and in all honesty i have no desire to either, as it is my belief that the person you portray via "Hove Born & Bred" IS the real you, and i find that person very objectionable and obnoxious, you will get your come-uppence in life, people like you, always do.

As i have told you before, you go out of your way to start threads / post's to incite people to react on here, in many ways you destroy others enjoyment on the board, but i guess that is like you are in real life, "Bitter"

I really don't know why I am saying this, but it is your wife and kid/s that i feel sorry for, we can ignore you, they unfortunatly can't !

The silly thing is Tim is a decent bloke away from NSC, Someone I would be happy to share a pint with but when he logged into NSC he becomes a complete Thunderc*nt for some reason. Know I know in his mind it is a role and persona he is playing but when he posts all the time about his year long holiday and days of leisure with being paid until November as well as a large lump sum payment, planning his next holiday and next property purchase when most other people are worried sick how they are going to get through the next year without going under and working 60 hours a week to get by is it any wonder we all tell him to f*** OFF ?

I've looked at threads like this for a long time and won't deny the fact that I get a little thrill out of one guy (I assume) banging on about the minutae of, let's face it, a pretty mundane life and then other insecure posters spewing bile and scorn on him for doing nothing more than telling everyone what he is up to.

On the internet, as in life, surely it is better just to sort of look on with slightly vexed curiousity rather than actually look to engage in some kind of conversation or, worse, a full scale debate.

That said, I don't want it to stop - I find the willy waving and instant biting on any comment a nice distraction as I plough through the day.

Most of your threads make me smile, as I read them in the sense that you are being ironic, like you are taking the p out of yourself with this internet persona you've created and starting threads in the 3rd person. It is, after all, only a message baord and not real life.

However, I think you need to realise that in the current economic situation, many people are either worried about the stability of their jobs, or currently out of work and trying to get a new job in a market that has few on offer

Posting about your wealth or the fact you don't need to worry about seeking work due to your redundancy payout is coming over as gloating, however ironic you are intending to be.

Your redundancy pay will not last forever, and this time next year, no doubt you too will be looking for a new job. By which time there will be even less available and you may well find yourself on hard times with a young family to support.

Personally, I think 'nice work' for anyone who has managed to get a decent pay out when your job disappears. but that certainly isn't the case for me, nor for many others who are reading this board. We don't spam the board every day about how unfortunate we are at the moment, so equally we don't want to hear about how fortunate you are

Enjoy your money, and enjoy your year off. I'm looking forward to hearing how things are for you this time next year though

If I met someone with hb&b's record as an NSC poster, I would definitely bear it in mind as a facet of their actual personality. Thus it would be the reverse of an interview, and all the "what a nice fellow" stuff would be displaced by the knowledge that he's totally lying on his cv and he's really an utter pratt.

Just out of interest - is hb&b also best friends with Adam Lallana or Kylie's chimney-sweep, by any chance?
