Three day weekend. The sun is shining (going to be around 90 all weekend). The fridge is full of beer and Florida vs Hawaii is on the box at 12.30.

All that's needed for the perfect weekend is for Orient to do the decent thing and roll over and die at Withdean.

3-1 Albion and Florida to win by about 30 points with Tim Tebow taking his first steps to winning another Heismann!

VFN.:clap2:

Nibble - resisting the temptation for the obvious response of naked abuse even if there is anything in what you say perhaps holding a country of 270 million plus people responsible for the actions of their government is a tad short sighted?
I might just as easily say when the UK stops being a country full of ill mannered drunken benefit scrounging chavs I'll start to care what happens in their country.
For the record I'm English but having lived in the US for 4 years have yet to meet an American I didn't like. On the whole they are a lot more courteous , hospitable and polite than people in the UK.
Take a trip out here and I'm pretty sure your narrow minded ill conceived prejudices won't survive.
Oh by the way Gustav looks like causing massive damage and misery all over the continent (including in the Carribean - got anything against Cayman Islanders?) and Florida won 56-10.

Saw some excellent t-shirts in Wisconsin that seemed to sum up what the average American thinks of George Bush. One said "Like a rock" then had a picture of George Dubya, then underneath "only dumber."

I also toured an upside down White House (don't ask) and one exhibit was described as "the most dangerous president the US has ever had" - it was Dubya again.

I have to disagree as well. I know there are a lot of idiots over here but that is no different to the UK. I live in NY state close to Niagara and have not really met any Americans that are as described. In fact it is exactly the opposite. They are all very respectful and absolutely adore the English. Maybe it is because I live in a small town which is why it is like this but I have also been to the big cities and they are great as well. Also some of the bigger rock bands actually love hanging out wiuth fans and even let me propose to my then girlfriend on stage at a show which is something the arrogrant british music scene would never let you do.
