A gentleman's agreement between McGhee and Motherwell could ensure that Hearts do not have to pay compensation for the former Celtic, Aberdeen and Hamburg striker, who has a year left to run on his current deal. A payment would certainly be made, though, for the services of Scott Leitch, McGhee's assistant, who will also move to the Tynecastle side. Leitch, a former Hearts midfielder, would be joined by at least one England-based coach.

Leaving aside the NSC fact that McGhee is a clown, anyone know how the two of them got on in the couple of months leading up to McGhee's knifing?

From a distance and with no inside knowledge at all, it didn't seem a very comfortable partnership to me and would DW want to relocate to Scotland?
