In yesterdays local paper it was revealed the playing budget for next season will be slashed by £600,000 to just £1 million. Part of this comes in the form of a 25% reduction in players wages due to a relegation clause writtin into the players contracts. Anyone know of similiar cases ?

It's the done thing having relegation clauses in contracts, well it is if you've got any sense, and 25% sounds about right.

According to Football Manager all contracts have a 25% relegation decrease clause, as well as a 25% promotion increase clause.
