Been seconded to a team in our company which means I have to be in Hounslow 2 days a week (ish), Bracknell 1 day and the other two days may be WFH or Crawley.

So after 8 years of putting up with lardarses, billy big bollox's, "hit the keys as hard as you can" lap Top man and lady, Blackberry annoying beeping twat and "talk very loudly about stationery orders and how your wife doesn't understand you" I can be Larry loner in my car!

It will be sad not to see people as much as I have done on the train ( although our little clique which used to run into 8 or 9 people has been dramatically reduced to just 3 of us).

Congratulations Dave - I caved in after less than 2 years.

It's interesting though, don't you think, how it's always someone else who is annoying and never ourselves. A bit like all the bad drivers on the road - does anyone actually confess to being one of them?

Good stuff Dave.

I commuted for a couple of years (Worthing to Notting Hill) and I utterrly hated every second so can commiserate. Mind you...Crawley? *shudder*

You'll be laughing on the other side of your face once you've crawled round the M25 and then up the A316 into Houslow !

I know what you mean about the armrests, talthough due to my proximity to Chavdon our trains don't run to such luxuries but I couldn't agree more about the Blackberries, it's astonishing how much of a wanker a person can look whilst posing with one.

So you're giving up on public transport and now going to pollute the planet even more now by going back into a car.
