It was very unncessary and stupid, but I still don't think he deserved to get sent off.

The ones that have annoyed me this season are O'Callaghan and Hammond, because neither of those challenges were required, and both let us down at crucial moments of games. Thankfully, the other 10 did pretty well on both occasions.

Maybe, maybe not However if you know the ref is as bad and fussy as he was why do anything like that:?

But yesterdays incident can hardly be described as "required" (I guess you are referring to a professional foul) can it. How can an incident after the final whistle possibly aid the team? With all due respect to Gary Hart it was a bit stupid, he should have known better and it was a far more silly sending off than O'Callaghan and Hammond - at least the game was still being played on those occasions

I cant believe this has run for 4 pages!! a footballer gets sent off......... SHOCK / HORROR !!

I think the shock horror is that footballer who gets sent off goes out of his way to apologise to fans. Not sure you'd see that at a whole lot of other clubs.

Very true, and as i said, Gary is a great guy, he will not be happy with what happened, and he has apologised, i just dont think some of the comments are warrented, but everyone is entitled to an opinion i suppose :bla:

What does that mean, 5-match ban (judging by the 5 'banned' smily thingies)?

Whatever the outcome, you've still been a great servant to this club whenever you've played, you're without doubt one of the most popular players we have, and I doubt that will have changed in many people's minds because of yesterday.

The fact that you've come on here and aplogised when you quite clearly didn't have to says a lot about you, and I reckon we could do with more like you at the club and in the sport in general.

Players like OGH can't say this sort of thing to the ref. So I will on their behalf - Oi, ref, you were a complete **** y'day. Terrible game compounded by getting decision's wrong even AFTER the game had finished (it was a yellow at most). On that performance I bet the ref probably headed south out of Brighton. Useless.
