No need for a red card there, I was so close to it - virtually on the pitch. That ref could well have eneded his career with that.

a) it was an awful challenge he made anyway
b) he went for him on the way to the changing rooms with hands in the air
Hart should never have got near the first team and would have left the club, like Mayo, at the end of last season if he had not had a contract linked to performances. He is way past his sell by date, sad as I am to say so and after today I don't think he should play for us again.
To be fair though, Ref was appauling. Forster was being mowed down it was atrocious. I am a better ref than that! It was frustration.
What irritates me is nothing will happen to that ref; we're not on the back page of the Sun, The Times etc so nothing will happen. We have had worst standard refs for a while and I am fed up.

It seemed to me that it was forehead to forehead glaring. No head-butting from either of them, although OGH was giving the impression afterwards of someone who wanted the ref to believe that he'd been nutted.
The preceding tackle was hard, but fair. I guess Brandon thought it was too hard.
