Tech Question/iPod Help

To the annoyance of some-NSC seems to be the font of all knowledge so....

How do I get the album artwork displayed on all of my albums that I've copied to my iPod?

I've ripped them using media player and the containing folders all show the artwork. I'd like the same on the iPod but can't see how to do it. I have some albums with their artwork displayed-even some individual songs have artwork but not the ones I've ripped. Do I have to embed something within the album?

I used iTunes to search for missing artwork and it took about 3 hours to do what it had to do but still no artwork transferred to the iPod.

Anybody know how it's done?

Select your iPod under the Devices section in the iTunes Source pane.

Select the Music tab of the iPod settings. The iPod settings are displayed to the right in the main iTunes window.

Select the "Display album artwork on your iPod" checkbox.

Click Apply to save the changes. The iPod begins to update as soon as Apply is clicked.

Doing this will take longer for your device to sync and will eat up valuable music storage as well ..
