John Robinson being Welsh is stretching it a bit.

The fact he used to play for them is only because he had the choice of all four home nations - should he have been good enough - and Wales picked him. And I'm not sure he played for Wales while a Brighton player.

mark walton was a more than capable keeper - and he had a BOOMING voice as well

Yes. Eric Young also played for Wales but couldn't really count as Welsh.

Mind you, they're about as Welsh as Adam Virgo is Scottish.

Hmmm, at least Adam Virgo has Scottish ancestry within two generations. Not so sure about that for Messrs Young and Robinson.


Young had none. He qualified through the quirky rule, where if you are born to English parents but outside of the UK [Singapore in his case] you are 'British qualified' and can take your pick.
