Has anyone else seen the Greece, Austria and The Swiss are going to be seeded for the finals??!

Its going to make some interesting groups.

They all have to be though, dont they? Greece for winning it last time and Austria and Switzerland for hosting it.

You are quite right though, will make for some strange groups.

There is a petition going for Austria to give up their place in the finals and it to be given to the best third place team in the qualifying group. Amongst their own fans!

It's all a bit of a farce really. Sums up football authorities in general I suppose.

Austrias recent form, albeit in friendlies is horrible, they could well be the worst ever team to play in the European Championships. Somebody will get very lucky getting them in a group.

I remember when three or four countries used to put combined bids in for the World Cup. Would they all get automatic qualification?
