Should be a very good weekend of boxing with that line-up, and don't forget your chance at 13:10 tomorrow on BBC1 to catch the Joe Calzaghe fight from last week if you've not already done so or want to see it again.

Any of NSC's knowledgeable boxing folk got predictions to offer on the above fights? Mine are:

Carl Froch vs. Robin Reid - Reid is probably still good enough to give Froch a tough test and maybe even the odd scare, but my pick would be for Froch's shots to wear Reid down for either a late stoppage or an eventually comfortable points win.

David Haye vs. Jean-Marc Mormeck - No doubt Haye's chin will be tested by Mormeck, and assuming it doesn't let him down as it did against Carl Thompson, I expect Haye's bombs to be enough to get the job done in 7 or 8.

Miguel Cotto vs. Shane Mosley - Cotto is on the way up, and 'Sugar' Shane is not the fighter he once was. Cotto will win this one easily on points, I suspect.

Murray did indeed look very good, and as Ernest said, Robin Reid should jack it in now, because he is completely shot.

John Murray vs. Amir Khan, anyone?

Close enough, although judging by how close the cards were, I didn't give Mosley as much credit as I should have.
