Forster has never been a prolific striker, always injured aswel:thud:

If his experience can help the youngsters upfront as much as Guy Butter's has at the back it will be a great signing. He also knows where the net is, even if he does use his hand :(

In a pile of football shirts
Horsham according to another poster (name escapes me).

I think that counts as nearby, so it would make sense for him to play for us for the last few years of his career.

Please, please let this be true... if we signed him and Bertin, then that would really be two major steps forward... I would start to believe we had a chance of the play-offs...

I think if we get permision for falmer in 16 days then he will sign once he knows we are going somewhere! Come on Nicky! You know you want too!!

Why would that effect his decision? By the time we are playing at falmer he will most likely be retired.

Nicky Forster IS signing for us.......FACT.

:clap2::clap2::clap2:

right so thats settled then , i trust this man for some strange reason

Whing,Forster - just need Bertin to put pen to paper and either some benchwarming but supersub goalkeeper or Sully to prove he is worthy of at least being Kuipers understudy and we are LAUGHING innit..

People on here have been moaning for the last 2 years that we haven't signed a proven goalscorer and when it looks like we might the moaners come out of the woodwork again

I agree with you.

How do you know how fast he is?

He scored for fun last term when he played for hull and got them some vital goals....the defences in this league are tin-pot and expierienced head like forsters would bang them in surely.

The guy is a good striker and yes he isnt in his prime..but if it means the difference between signing him or no1 then i'd have him any day of the week....

Got at least two years of goal scoring...20+ goals is worth 100k in my opinion...could end up keeping us up or even sending us up and thats worth a lot more than 100k whatever happens

I have seen him play.
I wouldn't say the defences in this league are tin pot either.

sadly, if DK thinks we can stay up without spending the £125k, or £25k he'll keep the money for the Falmer Fund
