All I can see is the headline. Who are the other clubs?

Suspect everyone would have guessed Big Sam and Flash Harry would be involved but who else?

Seventeen transfers and five clubs have been named in Lord Stevens' findings from his inquiry into alleged illegal payments by Premier League clubs.

Chelsea, Newcastle, Bolton, Portsmouth and Middlesbrough were all named as having breached transfer regulations.

The clubs face a further probe from the FA but it is understood Newcastle and Bolton are the most serious miscreants.

Stevens has also expressed concern about 15 agents and managers Sam Allardyce and Graeme Souness.

There was a perceived conflict of interest with Newcastle boss Allardyce and his former agent son Craig and Bolton Wanderers.

Stevens also reported "inconsistencies in evidence" provided by the former Newcastle manager Souness and Kenneth Shepherd, son of Magpies chairman Freddy Shepherd.

Of the 17 transfers, four relate to Newcastle signings (Emre Belozoglu, Jean Alain Boumsong, Amady Faye, Albert Luque), four to Bolton (Ali Al-Habsi, Tal Ben Haim, Blessing Kaku, Julio Correia), three to Chelsea (Didier Drogba, Petr Cech, Michael Essien), three to Portsmouth (Collins Mbesuma, Benjani Mwaruwari, Aliou Cisse) and two to Middlesbrough (Aiyegbeni Yakubu and Fabio Rochemback) while one transfer has not been disclosed.

Lord Stevens said in a statement: "Many lessons have been learned and strict adherence to and enforcement of the recommendations should ensure that the game and the transfer market can proceed in an untainted and transparent manner."

The Premier League will now send the findings to the FA and Fifa.

An FA spokesman said: "Following the final report of the Premier League's Quest Inquiry, the FA will give full consideration to its contents and the documentation that is due to be passed on by the Premier League and Quest.

"The FA has provided full co-operation and support to the Premier League and Quest and will now go through their information as part of our governance and regulation process. This will determine what action is required."

Bolton AND Newcastle. Is big Sam collecting the set?

Was Middlesborough when Bryan Robson was there by any chance?

Chelsea....well they can afford to be outside the law

No, it was McClaren who signed Yakubu. Hopefully he will be personally implicated to the extent that he can be sacked from the England job.

The funny thing is that Newcastle have the most transfers mentioned, and the players they signed are shite. Watching them play is probably punishment enough for the club. :lolol:

I would imagine many of the other clubs have managed to cover their tracks well.

If you look at how many players have been signed by Spurs, Blackburn, Liverpool and others, I am sure there would be some dodgy dealings as well.

Part and parcel of the crooked game up at the top.

The fact that Middlesborough are included makes me doubtful. From what I have seen of Steve Gibson - he looks an honest bloke and is not going to let his club be tarnished. I might be wrong though.

Bolton, Newcastle, and Portsmouth are no surprise.

That's part of the point though isn't it? The allegation often being that a manager might sign a player who otherwise wouldn't get a look-in if there's a sweetener involved....

Not that any of the managers of these clubs have done that, of course. Just in case there are any lawyers browsing NSC ;)

Or maybe they havent got bent tossers like Redknapp and Allerdyce in charge?
