I agree. But I was writing in relation to Kyiv, as in 'he won't stop bombing Kyiv until it is reduced to rubble. ' I know he won't stop there though.
I don't think he will stop until he reaches the Atlantic, if he is allowed to.

And yet we still kowtow to Trump's wishes not to impose further sanctions. f*** him, this is our continent not his we must do what ever it takes to defeat his mate. He has said he won't come to Europe's aid if we are attacked so he should have no say in how we deal with Russian aggression.

Yesterday, I saw a Youtube video of Russian troops, somewhere on the front line, having to forage for filthy water beneath tree roots, because their commanding officer could not organise a reliable supply of water to them.

Following on from the recent discussion about Russian Shahed drones, it would seem that Russia is rather more reliant on Iran for components than we thought:

It's hopeful to read this, hopefully the sign of more to come. Sounds like it's just isolated pockets of them at the moment.
I agree it sounds positive but I think Jason Smart underestimates Russia here.
- surely Russia can copy the engine design, and also the chemical formula for the fuel additive
- and if it needs chips/ electronic components from China to replicate what Iran uses, that should be a no brainer.
So, I can see there may be a slow down or disruption in the shahed supply for Russia, but then it could well ramp up again.

What I would say, is that it seems likely that Russia deploys the Shaheds as soon as they are ready, because it won't want to keep them in storage in case Ukraine finds them and destroys them. If this is the case, we should see the effect of any disruption pretty quickly, perhaps within days or weeks.
