Two things.... wearing short shorts ( ie old school rugby shorts for example)...... and secondly going into a pub and desiring a quiet pint and a chat with folk without being surrounded by Millennials/Gen Zedders with their kids eating chicken nuggets and chips..... simple things really.

Right. Here we go.

I was born in 86. POP MUSIC from about 97 to 05 just GETS ME GOING.

I know it's naff. It's so so bad. It's churned out groups....but that's my NOW era. That's my TOTP era. That's my Chart show era. I just love It. The song starts and you suddenly realise, despite not hearing it for maybe 10 years, that you still know every word. The cheesier the better

Give me S Club, Spice Girls. Give me a bit of McFly. You know what? Give me the boybands baby. Give me ROBBIE. it's just nostalgia overload.

Lifes too serious. Throw some naff cheese into your playlist and it's just euphoric.

Me and the kids watch the old TOTPs on the BBC and listen to Pick Of The Pops. If it's a sweet spot year then it's brilliant. I can't tell you who is number one now, but I would probably recognise every track from a top 20 this time In 1997
