Strictly speaking, he's already playing for the senior team - made his first two appearances this month, before joining the U21s in Slovakia.

Thought the coverage was pretty good - I enjoyed it (but there again I don't have a knee-jerk reaction to Liverpudlian accents that some people have). I thought the after match analysis (Joe Cole, and I didn't catch who the other one was) was very decent - much better than most of what we usually get on other channels. Good to see Beadle getting some well deserved words of praise.
Brighton kept us in it, and Brighton nearly won it for us at the death - not bad!
