I've twigged. Very clever. You've given clues to the whole lines rather than just the rhyme and I wouldn't have got it without the reference in the middle to Sussex's director of cricket.

Well played Stato - even though I skipped the assonance bit at least it was sufficiently clear that you could work it out - and add a Sussex reference for good measure
I included the Ford reference for other geographical assistance in terms of a London borough - alluding to Shakespeare would have gone even further from your original structure - does that nonsense make sense to you?

I remember the artist referring to the car plant in his homage to the trunk road to the sea. Is the Shakespeare reference about another song and leaving an extra pint?
