So his wishlist of potential suitors dwindles as the bigger clubs sign higher profile targets. Must be on his knees now praying that the mags make an offer that uncle Tone is likely to accept. The overwhelming message is he's not as good as he thinks he is

This kid needs a reality check that kicks him up the arse. He's clearly talented, full of potential and is on to a good thing with us. He'll get his move in time, he just needs to acting like a dick.
As a buying club, his actions since Brentford would make me question whether to bid the sort of money required. It's a lot of money for a disruptor and pain in arse.

He’s in danger of turning into another Richarlison, but there will always be at least one ‘big’ club willing or needing to take the punt. Spurs paying Everton £60m for that dickhead being just one example.

With Pedro, O’Riley, Enciso, Pervis and a few more fringe players (Igor, Adingra, Sarmiento, Scherpen and potentially a few other youth players) could this be our largest amount of incoming fees in a single window?

Agree with you. This is where timing helps the buying club, but in our favour, if we don’t get an acceptable bid from Newcastle then we can probably get one from a Saudi club and if he doesn’t want to accept that then he’ll just need to get his head down.
I thought that the other day. Summer 2023 was probably our record - Caicedo, Mac Allister, Sanchez and a few smaller deals came to about £160m.
So, estimating the following...
Pedro - £60m
Estupinan - £25m
Enciso - £25m
O'Riley - £20m
...would mean £130m down with £30m to go.
It would seem quite likely.

It will almost certainly be a club record for sales, though obviously we won't sell all of these.

It's a shame he wants away/club want him gone whichever it is?. He's a very good player and will get better. Great at taking pens but he didn't stand out too many times last season. I get the feeling he's a 'Trossard type'.......thinks he's better than anyone else, should be automatic starter and throws a strop when things don't go his way. He's been good for us but he's not indispensable.

I suspect it was the take up of an option so we can recoup some money by selling this summer.
The simple answer is because we didn’t get Europe. We are signing ever more talented and ambitious players for whom some form of European football is the minimum expectation. We as Brighton fans need to change our mindset from Europe being a nice to have for little old Albion to Europe being a necessity to keep our best players .
