Anyone know how I can watch the Aussie Amazing Race series? Can't find a streaming site that has it...

The posh mum who won - her narrative was that she had to stay home and be a mum, and was robbed of her competitiveness and self esteem as a result - 'poor me, i'm not able to go out and do things, i've just been so dedicated to my home and my family bleat bleat - is absolute horseshit, as it turns out she's a competitive horse jumper and has competed at national level events.

They didnt mention any of that at all! Does ruin the story i suppose, but it didnt half annoy me when they won - they dont need twenty grand at all ffs, whereas itd buy half a welsh village for the young'uns

Not sure if it was the editing or just that the initial budget was too high but there were very few 'work' stops this series. I like those as they not only give you an insight into different cultures (the South American one on the cattle ranch was great) but also have more of an impact on the race stages.

See your point but given the amount of holidays @hans kraay fan club discovered the young Welsh girl has been on over the last couple of years I'd guess they probably don't need £20k either.

The money as others have stated is kinda irrelevant though.

I think a lot of the teams seemed to have a big remaining budget at the end (hence why the brothers were able to take a 250 mile taxi), even the Welsh couple had about 25% budget when they entered India but seemed to be fine so perhaps India wasn't as expensive as they thought

Though respect to the brothers for ending each bus ride or train journey by arriving somewhere and going: “Beer?” “Yeah.”

Don't forget the free plane ride they all got which would have saved quite a lot I guess

Budgets too large. Highest was 24% for the last leg only and lowest was 12%

The winners could have got 1 taxi the whole 1000km and still had loads of cash leftover.

The brothers taking that taxi did rather highlight how the show is fixed. They spent a huge chunk of their budget and got themselves well in to the lead, then decided to spend a day drinking wine and completely threw away their advantage. If they were so hell-bent on winning, they would have just found a bus from where the taxi dropped them off.

Won't bother with the next series. There is just to much psychobabble about relationships and finding each other. Far too much backstory bollocks. Everybody has a backstory, save that for the honeymoon and let's just race.
