I had absolutely no idea that Bad Manners had recorded our county anthem.

I thought Buster was from London. Was I wrong? What connection did the band have with Brighton / Sussex / BHAFC? Just really curious.

(of course, it may just have been that Buster recognised that it was an amazing tune with sublime lyrics)
He played a benefit for the Albion at whatever the Pink Coconut was called at the time, along with Attila, the Levellers, the Fish Bros and P&tTTBs. If I remember correctly, a three song set: Special Brew, Lip Up Fatty and the Can Can. One more than the Test Tube Babies who were late, I think because of a delayed ferry, presumably spent the trip refreshing themselves and had a row and left the stage after two songs. The drummer wouldn't leave and was carried bodily offstage: marvellous scenes.

I was thinking of posting a track by Anal ****, but they are shit so what's the point?

I won't post a link but 'Give Ireland Back to the Irish' by Paul McCartney was banned.
Very odd lyrics for what is basically a typical Macca kids nursery rhymey ditty (it is shit).

One that should have been banned but wasn't is Walk on the Wild Side.
The BBC censors didn't know what 'giving head' means. :lolol:
Nor did I :)
