The reverse sweep is such a horrible, ugly stroke. I hate seeing it in a 4 or 5 day game, from the team I am supporting, and if in charge would BAN my players from using it.
In fact I hate it in short-form cricket too, but can at least see that in that, the risk/reward balance is different.
The number of times you see a well set batsmen make a hash of the reverse sweep and get themselves out. You'd think they would learn.
