I love the way Danny Dyer would naturally be held up by those enslaved to the macho man image only for them to be sorely disappointed by his wokeness :ROFLMAO:

He does flounder about in an Adrian Chiles sort of way, but with a good heart.
Sorry, I meant a f***ing cushdy ticker.

Must say, I was surprised and impressed by him on “The Assembly” recently. Apart from the swearing, of course.

"Here's the solution.
Turn the rest of the country into f***ing Brighton.
Be what you want to be"

Channel 4 now.
I hope you appreciate that I was REALLY tempted to bounce an old thread but, given you're propensity to go apoplectic with RAGE about that at the moment, I thought I'd choose yours from a mere SIX days ago.

Anyway, just listened to Danny Dyer on Desert Island Discs and thought he came across really well. He's clearly changed since he 'burst onto the scene', but the fact that so many reputable people had time for him, even at the start of his career (Mirren and Pinter to name just two) means he clearly had something about him. But even he would probably agree with a lot of the comments in the plethora of threads about him on NSC since •checks notes• 2006, that stated he was a complete and utter berk.

He's come a long way (baby).

No aware of an old thread but I salute your scholarship
