Can’t stand most Bond films except a couple of the Craig ones.

I find them deathly boring.

Weirdly, remember enjoying most of the novels when I read them all in order back at the turn of the century. Some great cover designs I recall.

I recommend not conflating the artist with the art.
Generally I prefer to know as little as possible about those who entertain me.
The biography was a present from my son so I owe it to him to read it
(but after a year I am still only half way through).

Knowing about the artist is an important part of processing the art in my opinion.
