Oh, I agree he is the best we have ever picked.
I simply rate Greaves more.
And I get irritated that England (and Spurs, were I a Spud) go/went on about how great the man is.
The man who has just won his first ever trophy.
Nothing against Kane.

Very difficult to make the case for Kane being better than Greaves at country or club level. Greaves also scored some of his later goals while chugging vodka by the bottle.
He even managed 9 goals in 10 games for Milan playing for a manager who didn't rate him and tried his best to mes him up.
Admittedly, Greaves' 6 hattricks for England were all against dogshit opposition, including Scotland and Northern Ireland (twice).

Kane: it was hot and a dry pitch, we had to be careful in the last 5 minutes as it was an important game.

The highlight of the game was seeing the sunshine, as opposed being stuck indoors in the usual British summer weather.

Just a shame that I had to watch the players in white, give a masterclass in how to pass the ball too slowly, with an inability to have a first touch, which Mitoma hasn't displayed since he was 5 years old.
