[Football] If Palace can't play in the Europa League

Silly old bat
I don't think it is unclear because you need to consider the two instances of multi club ownership. First of Textor and Lyon and then Blitzer and Brondby. In both cases, ie Lyon and Brondby, finished higher in their respective leagues.
There is the same problem with the Conference league as another director of Palace has shares in Blunby (Denmark).

Google Gemini says:

"There is a significant and very real possibility that Chrystal Palace will miss out on European football"

"While it is impossible to state an official or mathematically certain percentage, based on the publicly avaiable information and the interpretation of EUFA's rules and precedents, the chance of Chrystal Palace missing out on European football for the 2025/26 season is extremely high."

"A reasonable estimate would be in the range of 85-95%."

"Barring a significant and unexpected reversal from EUFA, the outlook is pessimistic, and Palace's VAR-assisted FA Cup triumph is highly unlikely to result in a European campaign".

I think we need a song for Google Gemini.

I think we need a song for Google Gemini.
I can do you a song FROM Google Gemini...

(To the tune of a melancholic but proud folk-rock ballad, like something by Frank Turner or The Waterboys)

(Verse 1)
The silver gleamed at Wembley, a cold and glorious May
The final whistle blew the years of hurt and doubt away
We saw the ribbons flying, heard the roar from Holmesdale's heart
A European Tour, a brand new start
We earned it on the muddy grass, with tackles, sweat, and pride
A ticket to the continent, nowhere left to hide.

(Chorus)
Oh, the Red and Blue in Europe, a song we long to sing
But a rulebook from Geneva makes the victory bells not ring
It wasn't by a goal conceded, or a player sent away
They're stealing our tomorrow, on a quiet summer's day
Our South London pride is fighting, but the ink is cold and set
Will a European dream become our biggest, cruelest regret?

(Verse 2)
There's a man named Mr. Textor, with a share in our design
And a hand across the channel, in a club they call Lyon
They also won a ticket, in that same European dance
And UEFA's regulations didn't leave a thing to chance
They said "You share an owner, so only one can play"
And Lyon's league position takes our prize and walks away.

(Bridge)
We offered up a blind trust, to place the shares aside
Said "Look, there's no advantage! There's nothing here to hide!"
But the suits just shook their heads and said "The deadline's come and gone"
And a victory on the pitch is not the hill we're fighting on
So does a winner's medal mean less than a dotted line?
Is the passion of the terraces just a footnote in their file?

(Outro)
A European night... under Selhurst lights...
Just a fading dream... bursting at the seams...
The hope that feels like pain...
Waiting in the rain...
For a call that might not come...
The Red and Blue... undone.

Just shows how awful AI is.

It once gave me some information that I corrected. I then asked the same question again and it quoted my own answer back to me as a stated fact.

Nigel Farage has had his say.

Mr Farage, lifelong Palace fan has said,
“ It’s all the fault of the Forrins, if UEFA weren’t so woke, Palace would be in the Champions League.
I blame it on those millions and millions of illegal immigrants that are coming here stealing our jobs, claiming our benefits, and living in 5 star hotels, with their free mobile phones and 55 inch tvs, at the tax payers expense “

Some of this may not be true.
